Seabeck offers visitors scenic drives and great stops, including the historic Seabeck General Store, a public pier,
boat launch and plenty of space to enjoy the beach and launch a kayak. Great cycling routes, overnight camping at Scenic Beach State Park and much more.
The name comes from a translation of a Twana word for Far Calm Water. It was originally settled by Marshall Blinn and William Adams who began The Washington Mill Company which shipped lumber down the coast to California during the gold rush. After decades the demand slowly dissipated and later a fire from a boat burned the entire mill to the ground which left most of the town’s residents in search of other work.
Seabeck still holds much of its original character with the small town on the water still active today. If you are looking for privacy and/or lots of space to live Seabeck might be the place for you.
